I always have a great dining experience at Baan Thai. The food comes quickly, looks and tastes great. Their details in presentation are a nice touch.
The building is undergoing renos at the end of the month so this might be the last time you get to dine here, give it a chance.

Phenomenal service, food came out fast and hot and fresh - every separate seafood ingredient in my soup was cooked to perfection so it's clear they've got some professionals who know their timing in the kitchen.

Beautiful restaurant and delicious food! They're also one of the only Thai restaurants I know that serve really spicey food on request.

The food is not that good. Me and my girlfriend ordered chicken pad thai , she asked for spicy and they gave her pepper and chiliflakes on the side of her dish.
The atmosphere of this place is excellent. There is an equal amount of green space around the whole dining area and there is alot of amazing wood decorations. It makes the place feel authenthic/natural.

A must visit! Baan Thai is the most authentic Thai food in Halifax. Not only is it affordable, but the food and atmosphere are wonderful. I eat here about once a month and don't plan on stopping anytime soon.

Impressed that they are extra creative with their food prep. Enjoyed the Baan Thai appetizer plate. Ordered green curry with chicken that comes with spring roll and salad and sweet and sour beef that comes with spring roll and salad too. Food tastes great! Would come back for sure.

Great dinning experience. Bright and very clean. Inviting atmosphere. Food was delish, however haven eaten in Thailand several times I think I should have asked to keep it to the original "spice" level. The food was not as spicy hot as I would have liked. Overall great experience!

Mango chicken curry was great for take out. Just be careful because the large soup we ordered could have fed 4 people.

Quick and tasty. Had the Pad Thai lunch special which comes with salad and spring roll. I visited at the end of a lunch time so it was quite empty and quiet which I enjoyed. Many intricate wood carvings on the walls and ceiling. Comfortable casual dining with relaxing music in the background. Friendly casual staff/owner.
