A super clean and pretty classy place to enjoy your collection of seafoods.
As a dead for Hamachi, I truly enjoyed my Sashimi and deep fried rolls.
Servers are absolutely polite and nice.

We visited this place for my daughter's 13 birthday and were happy we chose this place! The food was delicious. The soups we so hot that you knew it just came off the stove. The ramen was flavored very well.

Bright open space, beautiful place, good sushi
Got in late at the Hampton, this spot is right across the street. On a Wednesday night in an hour we saw almost a dozen Skip the dishes food delivery pickups - this is clearly a condo dweller favourite.
The sushi is a little overpriced - but it’s clear they take meticulous pride in their food. See other reviews, quality is their superpower.
Salad dressing was complex and surprisingly citrus.
Beef sashimi had a spicy bite and deep umami flavour.
I had a sushi/sashimi combo and LOOK at my pictures the cut of Salmon is thick and divine.
Rolls were good and creative - I hear from the Hampton staff people get the party trays for pickup daily.
Actually the actual restaurant is very open and decorated thoughtfully. Brought a little peace into our hectic day with small kids.

What an amazing experience!
Staff, chef, and management so friendly and accommodating. This only added to complete joy the meal provided.
Some of the finest Japanese cuisine I have had in years - and I have had good Japanese food!
I can't recommend this restaurant enough.
It was worth the trip to Halifax for this visit alone.

Fantastic. OMG!!! I am a sushi and roll lover so when I saw that this place was across from my hotel I had to try it. I was not disappointed. Miso soup was perfect, beef sashimi amazing, Philadelphia roll so creamy and flavorful, crispy California roll perfect. I also got a complementary sweet potato roll (first time having this one) wonderfull. All of this for a great price too. I can not say enough good things about this place. I will be back every chance I get. 👍💗 also great takeout presentation too. Good sturdy packaging I didn't have to worry about my food getting all smashed together.

Absolutely my favourite sushi place in the city. All the staff are friendly, service is fast and the food is great.
They have standard rolls and sashimi, but have their own set of creative roll that I am especially fond of. The dinosaur roll in particular is my recommendation.
Being just a stone's throw from the citadel, they are in a convenient location and definitely worth a try!

This place serves one of the best sushi I have ever eaten in my life. I loved the mango and cheese sushi. It was quite unique in taste. The salmon and avacado sushi was so soft it just melted in my mouth. It felt very fresh. The waitress was very warm and had a pleasant personality. She also recommended us the offer that was going inside the restaurant. I highly recommend this place. Its not very expensive as well.

These sushi rolls are huge! Price is comparable with other sushi places in Halifax, but here I feel like you definitely get more for your buck.
They also gave us the white plate of sushi for free!
Cute place, great service. We didn't once run out of water.
All around great experience.

Just got beef noodles but enjoyed it very much! Large portions. Quick service. Staying at the Hilton across the street and there isn't a restaurant at the hotel, so I'm very glad this restaurant is a couple of seconds away.

Overall good meal. Prices were fair and the portions are big for sushi which is nice. It doesn't look it at first until you are part way through and notice that you are feeling content with your fullness. The decor is modern and the staff are overall helpful and nice. The location is also good being very close to down town. The large section of couple seating is nice as well. Food was played well.

Miso soup tasted like something that came out of a package. Disgusting sushi. Rice was hard, stale and old. California roll was terrible.. how can someone mess up on a California roll? We ordered toro they brought out red tuna. Spicy scallop roll all you can taste was the tempura. sashimi did not taste fresh at all. Over all do not try this place if you are visiting Halifax. It shouldn't be rated as 4.3 at all. Server was terrible she didn't seem like she knew what she was doing and busy chatting to the other server. Just don't waste your money and time here!

Best sushi ever! Conveniently located across the street from Hampton Inn. Fire Roll, sushi meets jalapeno, not too hot but definitely warms you up. The lighthouse roll very good, a little large tho. Nice roll to finish off is the tropical roll with banana, mango and cream cheese.<br/> Visited twice, warm welcome first visit, second visit "hey! You came back for more!" So friendly, so good. Thanks for make us feel at home!

Best sushi is HRM also has the earliest happy hour with the largest selection for happy hour compared to all sushi restaurants in HRM.<br/>The sushi is so fresh and the staff are the friendliest and really care about your experience. <br/><br/>A Halifax must!

Ordered delivery because they're really close to my place and it's a fairly new restaurant. The sushi was fine I guess. Very mediocre. The texture of rice was off. Flavorless for the most part. The staff was very friendly though. Looks to be a good location with a cool setup inside.

The best Sushi in Halifax! No competition! Service was exceptional. Sushi was extremely fresh, and the flavour and texture was superb! Met the chef and the owner, after giving compliments to the chef.
