Hopyard Halifax

Great restaurant with friendly staff and a great menu that's always changing. I have been going here for about a year and havent been disappointed yet. One thought is to have customers vote on a favourite starter/entree of the year in order to bring back favored dishes. EDIT: The place is still amazing, food is a bit pricier due to inflation but drink prices are essentially the same. We finally came across a dish did not like a few months ago but they were kind enough to let us try something else instead.

Went to private party. 122 people attended. They were doing fantastic job serve people. Did ordered donair nacho with onion rings. Love donair nacho highly recommended it. Onion ring maybe need go easy on deep fried its very crunchy 🤣 still delicious seasonal on it. Very friendly and does make you feel very welcome there. Look forward to go there again.

My favourite spot in the city. I've been there a few times already since trying it, and can confirm it's still one of the best foodie experiences in Halifax. The portion size and price on their plates is perfect for sharing and getting a chance to try new things. I'd recommend going with a group that enjoys 'family-style' eating if you're looking to try everything on the menu. If you wait a month, a brand-new menu comes out. It's an experience and a half, and I'd recommend it to anyone who loves trying new exciting food in a comfy atmosphere. Plus, Beer flights. :)

First night in Halifax and walking by the HopYard decided to give it a try. Came on a quiet a Taco Tuesday night and had the wings and the crispy chicken and featured braised beef tacos. All of the food was excellent with a lovely coleslaw garnishing the wings. Service was friendly and excellent. Got a few recommendations for things to do and places to go which was appreciated.

Greatly enjoyed the trivia event hosted at the HopYard. Reasonably priced drinks and appetizers, friendly servers, and a good atmosphere. There are a lot of appetizers to choose from, with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. No set parking area but there are street parking all around the neighbourhood. Accessible and LGBTQ+ friendly.

I go here every Wednesday for Music Bingo. The host Devin is amazing, as are all the servers. The menu changes every month but there is always something tasty, and they have lots of vegetarian and gluten-free options. There is also a good selection of local craft beer and cider. Highly recommend checking it out.
