Subway

Be aware that this location does NOT accept any SUBWAY official coupons or promotions. I didn’t realize it until they cut my bread, so I went ahead with my order. I don’t mind paying the extra. I just worry that since they don’t need to follow website promotions, they also don’t need to follow proper sanitizing protocols and food safety measures set by Subway. To be honest, the reason I choose chain restaurants over local business is that I am almost certain what quality of food I will be getting, especially during a pandemic. But if Subway keep letting stores to set their own rules, it is not just false advertising to customers , but will also lose trust from us customers.

Well Halloween came early for me at subway today! The person that made my sandwich had the capacity of a zombie, and the speed of a sloth. The person was completely not standing in front of me but elsewhere doing what ever zombies do, where ever they do it! The owner had opened the door for me and it went down hill from there... I told zombie, I mean the sandwich maker, the bread, the length, type and cheese... and yet zombie asked “foot long?” What kind of cheese... I will tell you, I feel bad if this person is of diminished capacity. I believe this person is just not very customer service oriented, and maybe not very nice. I have eaten at this subway once before and didn’t have a great experience that time as well. The workers (people making the sandwiches) don’t seem very happy about there, maybe it’s because customer service isn’t part of their zombie mind set.

Extremely rude staff. They DON’T follow COVID protocols! I asked the guy the double wrap my food and cut it in half, he refused. He gave me an open kitchen knife, placed it on the billing counter which was not even sanitized and ask me to cut my warp myself! I payed for the wrap but didn’t eat it. I bought food from another restaurant.

This subway has delicious sandwiches and the service is incredible. I had a bicycle mishap on a long ride and the Subway employee asked if I would like to wait inside (it was very cold outside) with my bicycle until my ride showed up. He offered water, a phone charger and checked in on me regularly. They have really good humans here :) Thank you, Subway!

Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. The family who runs this place does a terrible job. Unfriendly bordering onto rude. They only had one one type of bread, and were out of spinach. The ingredients that they do have in stock, they will serve extremely sparingly. Don't you dare ask them for any more of the free toppings, lest they threaten to charge you extra. Oh, and the health inspector would absolutely find some things to say if he were to pop in when I was there.

Eric was amazing! He had the most warming personality he went out of his way to make me feel absolutely special like I was the only customer it was so busy in here but he just took his time and put much detail into my sandwich the place was extremely clean and inviting . Traveler I often go to different places all over the world and this by far was one of the best subway experiences I’ve ever had can’t wait to come back here again

Very costly even for Veggie Patty footlong sandwiches because this Subway is the only one in town on Hwy 1 near Half Moon Bay. If you are planning to dine out around the area, the cost for vegetarian foods would be comparably higher since the neighborhood is mostly seafood. Unless you'd want to McDonald (Egg McMuffin w/out Canadian bacon), Subway is the choice for our family!
