Ihop

My fiancé and I came in for a late last minute meal before heading in for the night. When we walked in and began to be seated, the server made sure to make us aware that they were very short staffed with only 3 of them working and that they would only serve breakfast(which was absolutely fine). Upon being seated, we had the sweetest server and the absolute best service. Hannah made sure she checked on us among the other 3 full tables she was helping. The food was amazingly quick for there only being 2 people in the back and 1 server. I just wanted to express my experience, these 3 girls made a GREAT team effort to make sure that the service given was the #1 priority.

The restaurant business is crazy these days. Short staffed, over worked hosts, servers and cooks are doing the best they can. Everyone can get short tempered, so we all just need to be patient and be nice. IHOP on a Saturday morning is always going to be busy. I walked in just before at least 6 other parties, and my wait was about 20 minutes. The wait had quickly extended to 45+. When I told Rhonda at the desk my name, we had a quick conversation about Clint Eastwood and how her father looked like him. I was named after Mr. Eastwood in 1971 from Dirty Harry. I was seated in a booth by the window, and it helps to already know what you want to order. I always get the Split Decision. Rhonda took good care of me making sure I had plenty of coffee or anything else I may need. The food was also cooked perfectly, however I forgot to add the cheese for my eggs. I don't always have a 5 star experience at IHOP, but this location and Rhonda's service make it. It does pay to smile and be nice. Maloy Approved

Arrived about 7pm this past Sunday, the place was very slow, hardly any customers. I'm only giving one star because the hostess greeted us immediately and was very nice. We sat down for about 12 minutes, without so much as a "hi, be right with you", 3 different waitresses saw us, and there were literally 3 other tables in there. I was a waitress for 20 years and this was just poor customer service. We left and went to Denny's and had to drive across town because my teenage just wanted some breakfast!!!

AC on,very cold. We moved to another seat and several others moved as well. 2 parties came in after us and were waited on but we weren't. Finally did get our drink orders taken. She forgot a coffee and we waited over 10 mins for creamer. Food order were wrong. We waited so long we just dealt with it. I had a 25. gift certificate ( not card) Noone knew how to take it off the bill.Even the manager on duty couldn't figure it out. So they just deducted 2 meals off. It was suppose to be 25.00 off but He only took 20.58 off. I am thankful to the staff that showed up but I won't come again. I only ate here because my grandson wanted to. When we got in the car to leave he said " Sorry I made you all eat here" .

Arrived at 10:30am was told a 10min wait. I said no problem gave my name and number and told they'd text me when my table was ready. Now I am a patient person and understand everywhere is short staffed. Waited an HOUR until I decided I go in and check. Was told it would be another 45min wait. Went next door to T.G.I.Fridays since at this point it is 11:45am.
