Godiva Cafe

Godiva in general is delicious. Nothing bad to say about their products, but the staff here is so rude, inattentive, and overall pulled out from the crypts of the ghetto just agonizing until their shift is over. Came in. No greeting whatsoever. I actually greeted them but they just continued on with their gossiping and I waited so they can finally stop talking about their non-work related issues. I just wanted the icecream and the cashier haphazardly plop the measly soft serve into the cone which was not even the kind that I ordered.

I stopped in for a cup of coffee, and waited on a very short line for about 5 minutes while the staff of about five people went about their business with everything except focusing on customers. When the cashier called ‘next on line’ a couple who just walked in went up to the cashier who was completely oblivious of the patient customer, me, waiting there for so long. When I excused myself saying I was next the cashier, and all of the staff including the manager ignored me pretending I did not exist. I literally waved hello and no reaction. Truly an example of what I would expect elsewhere not from such a well known respected brand. The staff looked at me like I did something wrong. You seriously need some very basic training, and some manners would help. If I treated customers like that when I worked in retail I would have been shown the door.
