New Heritage Diner

Surprisingly good meal at new Heritage diner. It’s funny, this diner is anything but new however they have a very large menu sure to please anyone’s palette. I ordered from the lunchtime specials which included soup, meal and ice cream for dessert. My meal was tuna pita with french fries which was surprisingly delicious. I usually judge a diner by it’s french fries, which weren’t so bad after a bit of salt and ketchup. I hardly ever eat soup and almost never at a diner, however the vegetable soup cup I had was very enjoyable and flavorful. They also offer free refills on fountain soda which made me happy.

FANTASTIC!!! Everything was FANTASTIC!!! The food was AWESOMELY delicious! The staff was pleasant and eager to please. They really make you feel at home. The other customers that come are polite and friendly. I had the turkey, bacon & avocado wrap in spinach pita. AWESOME! My wife had stir fry chicken over rice and she loved it! We will definitely be back soon.

Good food at decent prices. Plenty of parking. Good service. Not noisy like some diners. Adding to my above review, they just increased prices 15%. With the cost of living at about 2% annually, this is not acceptable. Diners going out of business left and right due to the fact they charge restaurant prices, but actually are just a notch above fast food. They have to know their niche. How many times have people said, "Let's just go to a diner."

An excellent diner, not quite the best. Prices are pretty much on par with most diners, food is normally well above average. Staff is friendly. There's a small salad bar for those who go in for those. What is a bit disappointing is their handling of when something goes wrong. The last time we went, there was clearly a problem in the kitchen, but there was only the most perfunctory of apologies, and no attempt to compensate for the problems.

I have a dear friend, who is elderly and lost her husband last year. Well, it was her birthday and I wanted to do something special for her, so I ordered two brisket dinners and her favorite, beef barley soup. I called it in and asked for curbside pick up, spoke to a very nice man named Tom. I explained about her birthday, and not only was he so kind, but he added a piece of cheese cake with birthday wishes written on top. The food was great, she was happy, and I am so grateful to This man Tom to make it even more special. Thx Tom! That’s called The Butterfly Effect, and it really happened this past Monday:)

Worst experience ever. The most rude and disrespectful staff. Hospitality does not exist at this place. The cashier was a very rude woman. After expressing a question about the pricing to the waitress, the cashier made the comment "if you checking your wallet this is not the place for you." I was sitting several booths away and I was able to hear this comment she made. After hearing that I decided to leave on my way out she decided to sass me and disrespect me even more by insulting me. The ironic thing is that she made these comments to me not realizing that she only had two cars parked in the parking lot. What the cashier did not realize is that I am in business and operate a multimillion dollar business everyday on the corporate level. What she also did not realize is that I was not just some guy entering the location for the first time. This is the place to certainly avoid and the place to never go for quality service.
