Heidi's Brooklyn Deli

We've been coming here for years and it's been wonderful. Unfortunately, the service and quality is absolutely terrible the past 2 times we've been here. The $10-$15 sandwiches were made wrong. The two parties before us were also wrong and were asked to be made correctly and the ladies working were not being kind about it at all, even refusing once saying if it doesn't taste bad there's nothing they can do about it. The behavior was like an over privileged teenager rolling their eyes. I tried to get tea and it was extremely fermented, so I commented that to one employee before leaving and she looked at me with a blank face and said "okay...". I highly recommend their management supervises better or trains them better because this place is soon to lose a ton of business because of these ladies! The one star is being generous after the experience we all had today. Absolutely unacceptable!

Got there 15 minutes before closing and one of the girls working there told us they close on 15 minutes. We said "oh, we'll eat fast and be out of here, no worries." She then said we had to eat outside because they had already cleaned up the tables. We begrudgingly went out in the cold and ate. There was no trashcan outside where she sent us so we put the trash by the door. She then came out and flipped us off and told us not to come back. Great sandwich but terrible customer service. Hope the manager makes this right...

Grabbed a ham sandwich here yesterday and it was fresh and fantastic. Wound up back near the airport again this morning and tried a breakfast sandwich and a smoothie. Again, was fantastic. Also the restaurant both times was clean and employees were friendly. In these trying times everyone is struggling so it’s appreciated when it’s so evident that restaurants try so hard to deliver a fresh product. It’s what brings customers back.

Used to be good but service quality keeps declining. I recently ordered online, paid for two extra potato salad and an extra pickle, I got no potato salad (not even the one that's supposed to come with the sandwich) and three pickles. That's $2.00 down the drain. Their avocado is also on the older side so I've started ordering without it. Fiance's breakfast burrito had sausage instead of ham, so now the toilet is going to suffer for it. Absolutely unacceptable.
