Not entirely sure what the metrics are for this place to be an award winner... BUT, I have never yet had a good bit of fish from here.... lots of greasy batter and thin over-fried fish. there are definately ithers that are better locally. however, battered sausage and chips cannot be beaten.

Really good fish and chips. Crispy light batter and tasty chips. Not greasy at all. Perfect. Mushy peas too. Would be nice to served with a smile and not a grunt but don’t let that put you off.

Underwhelming visit again I thought let me give them the benefit of doubt as I have only ever been on Sunday or late towards close. But today a visit on Friday peak dinner time. Good was served very quick and fish was dry think that's the last visit for me unfortunately.
