I just found out about this place today and went to get myself a cup of ice cream and it’s amazing! I had to take a picture of the flavors and menu because I am definitely coming here again. It’s so warm and inviting with lots of options and friendly workers!

You know they're good when they are BUSY! And I can confirm they were delicious. They moved as quickly and efficiently as possible with how busy they were. The ice cream was so delicious and flavorful. Definitely will be back.

We got a strawberry flavored cone and a small chocolate malt - the help was good/friendly, the price was good, the quality was good.
There was a decent amount of parking but it was really packed so things were kinda tight. It was a little musty smelling inside, possibly from being closed up all winter. Not much in the way of seating, it looked like most people just grabbed and go, but it would be nice if there was more seating.

Heavenly Delights is a local favorite in Grimes. We live outside of town in Granger now, however, SO WORTH THE DRIVE. Heavenly Delights has TONS of choices for ice cream flavors. My son's new favorite flavor is "Rich & Famous" I did try it and it was pretty amazing. I always get the Crunch Shakes- the Hawaiian is soooo good.
The staff here is always friendly and interact with the kids. My kids LOVE getting the edible eye balls on whatever they choose. If you have not stopped by, you are definitely missing out.

Heavenly Delights has the best ice cream in the Des Moines area. They have amazing customer service and work hard. They have many options for ice cream and the flavors are great. It’s a great place to bring family and friends to enjoy great ice cream

Now it is getting warm out in Grimes , it is worth a trip to the ice cream shop . Plenty of variety to choose from. Order inside or the side window. Stay cool on the hot days of summer here at heavenly delicious ice cream.

Fantastic ice cream and almost too many choices, from hard scooped ice cream to soft serve, bowls and shakes and waffle cones and malts and smoothies. And toppings. Plenty of those. Super delicious and highly recommended

Nice to have variety with soft serve, hard serve, and the crunch shakes are just like a blizzard but better. Highly recommend.
