Ruby Tuesday

Salad bar was poor quality. Eggs on bottom of container was brown and smelled very bad. Lettuce was brown around edges. Very disappointed in the salad bar. Ordered hickory bacon burger which was good as expected. Wait time was terrible. Had two kids in my party which received food first and had enough time to finish before we had received our food. Oh and refills are hard to come by. Id imagine this is not the norm.

Our server was excellent, recommended Texas Tea which was better than expected... food was good however arrived late because they had a party of 20 or so guests...kitchen was backed up because of that...and that would have been fine, but food finally arrived and the first bite in my mash potatoes was a big piece of plastic...so that totally ruined the meal for everyone....didnt even recieve a discount except a causal apology. Not even a manager stopped by after that incident...Again not our server's fault....probably wont eat here again.

My son and had went to Ruby Tuesday on West Wendover Avenue yesterday and the food was amazing (!), as usual. I got the 1/2 rack of ribs with hickory bourbon bq sauce, a baked sweet potatoes and the salad bar. The ribs are meaty and very tasty. The hickory bourbon b.s. sauce is absolutely delicious, not like any other restaurant. And let me not even get started on the salad bar! Fresh ingredients, plenty of choices of stuff to load up on your salad. I also got my husband the Hickory Bourbon Salmon, mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. The server even threw in an extra sweet potato. My husband had just asked me on the phone if they had baked sweet potatoes and here this guy gave him one. Wow. I love Ruby Tuesday. I've been dining with you for years and won't stop now! Good, fresh food and excellent service is what it's all about.

Ruby Tuesday's current special is if you buy the endless garden bar, you can add one of the selected entrees for $3. So, I ordered the hickory bourbon chicken. The salad bar was good, as it usually is. The chicken, however, looked like a fast food chicken patty with sauce on top. The taste was pretty good at best. A side is included, so you'll definitely not leave hungry, esp. with the garden bar. I realize that this is a $3 portion, but it should not be marketed as some huge bargain (it isn't). The picture on the menu (under the specials section) shows a bigger portion of chicken. My friends got the same deal but with a 4 ounce steak. The steak was small, but it looked much better than the chicken. Food was edible, but I'd rate the overall experience as Fair.
