The Goose

Five of us had a lovely meal on St Patrick's Day 17/03/23, having not been able to secure a table at our original pub choice... The Fish & chips, Mixed Grill, Gammon & chips and BBQ Mac Burger with Waffle fries (upgrade) were all thoroughly enjoyed...😋 (The only thing we would improve is the filter coffee, which wasn't very hot).

Kayne is an absolute star. When our booking hadn't gone through he ensured we had a table to watch the rugby. He is very polite and helpful and nothing was too much bother. Would highly recommend him for employee of the month. I'd give Kayne 5 stars but can only give 4 because the Goose ballsed up our booking

After our unexpected nights out on Friday and Saturday I can truly say the bar staff and door staff were absolutely amazing friendly and welcoming. The door staff made us feel welcome and safe even when outside smoking, we had a bizarre night full of energy and excitement and the DJ was absolutely brilliant, playing old and new songs. Definitely recommend this place for any ages since it's so inclusive. What we found quite comforting is there is a female door security that makes you feel welcome and not intimidated when getting checked, which we think is absolutely amazing with the high standard of security. The bar staff was absolutely lovely and fast and were very friendly and confident. We will definitely be returning next weekend for another fantastic night out. Thank you The Goose for make us feel welcomed and safe.

Mum and I visited the Goose Thurs evening for a Christmas dinner. The food was delicious, extremely tasty, hot and a good size portion. Everything about the pub was great, the atmosphere, the staff, the decoration. It was a great experience. The lady who served us was Claire and she was friendly, helpful and nothing was a problem. I would definitely recommend the Goose and I will definitely be going again.
