"Thank you Josh and your staff for a 5 Star Experience" (My Trip Advisor entry today) I cannot thank Josh enough for accommodating the "Gosforth Gatherings" Meetup group on Saturday 17th June. We had the most wonderful time. Your support with the seating and tables allowed people to make new friendships. You were an angel sent to promote healing after the social isolation many suffered through Covid. Wishing you and your staff well. Suzanne x

Had a nice lunch here in this beautiful cafe. there is a lovely ornate column inside with stained glass which reminds me of sagrada familia Nice varied menu and good selection of drinks.i had the vegan banh mi which was generous and deliciously cooked.comes with salad. This meal and my fentimans lemonade came to around £13 which is fairly standard for this area. Nice place for a catch up. Lovely bright and airy inside. Nice ladies running the place. Some Spaces inside at lunch when we mid week in March

I didnt have food only coffee which was perfect. Staff were so helpful with our large group too. I went with a meetup group with the man himself Lee Ridley (lost voice guy), organising this. What a wonderful afternoon with people from many different background. Lee had plenty to say when he could get a word in but i think his comedy title needs to change on these meetups to the one finger typist lol i know i speak for everyone Lee when i say thank you for making our day. You are an amazing guy. Lee has a book out and a crazy audible podcast too. He is so busy all over the country. What a likable guy

It was my first time to come to the place, as one of my best friends suggested that it was a nice place to grab a bite and chill - wasn't disappointed at all! The place had a cosy, homey feel. It was spacious, with ample seating, and it was well-lit - as it had so much natural light coming from the large windows all over! Breakfast and lunch menu selection was not a lot, but options were sufficient to cater to any palate. They also served a variety of sweet treats (near the till) to have with your coffee or tea if you just want to chill out. For the ordering process, the menus are set on the table, and you just order what you want at the till. They ask you where you are seated, and they bring the food over while you people watch and wait. 🥰 The food was served fresh, and piping hot! Today, I had the soup of the day - potato and leek soup - served with sourdough bread an butter on the side. It was *chef's kiss*! I also ordered a piece of carrot cake - heaven! My friend had the tuna melt sandwich, and she gave us a little to try, OMG. I can't explain how this visit made me so happy! I now have a new place to frequent whenever I am at the High Street!

Stopped in for a drink and to hide from the rain while out shopping; ended up staying for lunch. Wonderful atmosphere, great one-way system, and delicious food. Thoroughly reccomend the chorizo club sandwich (pictured). Staff were friendly and helpful, all wore masks and I could see that every empty table had been recently wiped and sanitized. I'll be bringing my mother-in-law back here when she's in town, it's the perfect quaint little deli cafe!

There is just enough seating outside for customers who don't want the takeaway option, but on a sunny Saturday morning it was busy and my friend and I had to wait for a table to become available. It was worth it. The tables and chairs are arranged in a sheltered corner against the church which is out of the wind but was in full sunlight. They are far enough from the road to enjoy a bit of peace and quiet while still feeling part of flow. I had a flat white coffee, which was good. My friend had a chocolate milkshake which she confirmed was one of the best she's had. She also had a sausage bap, which surpassed expectations since it contained no fewer than three good quality sausages, and came with grilled haloumi and some chilli jam as an extra. Good quality and a generous portion, so good value for money in our opinion. The staff were very busy, but were making sure that everyone felt looked after and valued.
