Paddy O'neil's

I’ve grown up in Goderich Ontario. I have to say Paddy O’Neils is the comfiest restaurant in town. My absolute favourite is the macaroni and cheese! The servers I’ve gotten to know and love. Are all friendly delightful people. Who are very good conversationalists. The restaurant is overall very clean and tidy. Every time I’m seated at a table it is scrubbed spotless! Being in this restaurant gives me an amazing sense of community about what I miss living in my childhood small town. Thank you to all the servers, kitchen staff, and everyone else for making numerous years of Paddy’s a great experience. I always come back every time I come home. ❤️

We enjoyed a lovely meal on the patio of Paddy O’Neill’s. It is located on Goderich’s Square Good food and service. This is a lovely way to enjoy Goderich’s historic downtown. March 20, 2022 We had a Return trip to Paddy O’Neill’s we enjoyed a generous portion of lasagna and garlic bread. Great taste and great service. Thanks!

Never waste my time with reviews, but if I can save one person from experiencing this place it's worth it. Horrible service. 2 hours till we where done and paid. Got a horrible under cooked. Skin on 3 fish tacos. Nicely said the rest was good other then the 3 tacos we refused to eat. The waitress then took them like she was going to show the manager. But threw them out. Couldn't even feed the garbage to my dogs at home. Then had to ask about a possible discount beings as we ate non of it. She replies "I asked but was told no, I can give you a side salad though. " 100 dollar bill. Worst experience in a restaurant for poorly made food. And no service

I should’ve read the recent reviews before going to this restaurant but at the time we really didn’t have a choice as all the other restaurants were closed on Tuesday afternoon around 2 pm. The service was awful. My husband and daughter ordered burgers. It took over 30 minutes for the food to arrive. The server explained it was because the burgers were home made from scratch. Well, the burgers were burnt, very small (half the size of normal burger). My husband was so upset he returned his plate and walked out. My daughter took a bite of her cheese burger and said it was very dry and tasteless. So she didn’t eat her lunch. My Philly steak wrap was okay, and my younger daughter’s mac n cheese kid’s meal was good. The waitress was very apologetic but the damage was done. We won’t return to this restaurant.

The food was not what we expected. The fries were double deep fried. They were as hard as a rock and when we asked the waitress if she would eat them she said she didn't see anything wrong with them. We paid our bill and let her know we would not be back. We visit Goderich once or twice a year and when we find a restaurant we like we tell our friends. This place will never be recommended by me or my husband.
