If you eat breakfasts at the rose tree farm inn down the road then stop…. Come here instead . Soo much better .

A proper pub that sells food rather than a licensed restaurant that happens to have a bar.
Good value, proper pub grub and good portions so come hungry! Make sure to check the specials board too.
Outside seating at the front and I'm told the garden out the back is lovely too, didn't see it on our visit because the weather wasn't great.
Nice large car park on the other side of the road.
Events/parties catered for to so I'm told.
Worth a visit 👍🍻

Popped in today to try the Sunday Roast. Once again, fab service and friendly staff. I don't normally have the roasts when we're out but Friar Tucks came highly recommended and as our last visit was so good we thought we'd try it.
We had the Roast Pork and Roast Chicken and it was delicious! It felt and tasted like proper home cooked food!
Give it a go I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Didn't stay here. Went there on a rainy Saturday for lunch with friends. The service was very good and the food was tasty and well presented. I had the lamb. However, the ham egg and chips looked very good and the ham was nice and thick. So will go try that next time.

Can't comment on hotel but use the restaurant. Excellent breakfast. Very good value. Friendly staff. Lovely atmosphere. Regularly come here for the breakfast.
