I've tried you again and it was waaaaaaaay better. Actually pretty delicious this time! I had really high hopes for this place and was excited to have a sushi joint on my doorstep; I miss the sushi I used to have in Japan. Sadly, I feel rather let down. Firstly, my tuna sashimi wasn't actually cut properly and was a little odd tasting. The texture was a bit slimy too. It was some fairly tasteless tuna. The mango and salmon was bland. I mean, the fish itself was actually pretty damn good but there was no other flavour, even with the dressing and the mango. The chili chicken ramen was underwhelming and very salty. I didn't finish the broth. Not like me. The beef was delicious in it though; a saving grace. Finally, my salmon box was too old. Some of the rice was dry and the pickled ginger was also dried out. Un-cool. I've paid a fair whack of money for this and expect super-fresh fish. Disappointed.
