Great coffee shop. With smashing cakes.

Massive thank you to the staff who helped me propose to my partner there last week. We had our first date in this Tinderbox on 17th of September 2022 and we met there a year later as part of our anniversary. I had already planned the proposal but I couldn’t have done it without the help of the staff. This place has such a special place in our hearts already, now it’s more than that. Thank you so much.

Lovely relaxing atmosphere great location would definitely recommend to catch up with family and friends. . Great customer service and handy for byres road. 🙂

The staff always appears affable. Lots of excellent drinks and the seating is comfortable.

We stopped by the shop as it was raining heavily. The coffee's fragrance was compelling enough to make us stay for a coffee. The staff were friendly. Overall, a great cafe at a prime location.

Good coffee, I can't really rate properly so a bit unfair to score high or low
Definitely better than Starbucks etc. but not as good as some of my favourites. I would definitely buy another again so the three stars is more a lack of times I have visited and feels kinda harsh but also fair.
Will update if I go back, staff were great but busy

The toasties and sandwiches are good, coffee is amazing however if you don't get a booth you end up sitting at an awkward table or uncomfortable bar stool. The people that work there are great and it's a very varied customer base
