I'm nearly 60 years old and Indian Cuisine has been my favourite since I was growing up in the Midlands. I've had many favourite restaurants over the years, both takeaway and dine in.
I have now tested this place about six times and it's without doubt one of the best I've ever experienced!
I think the mark of a truly great food establishment is not to try your favourite dish and compare it to others, but to try as much of the menu as possible. I've tried different dishes every time, and I've never had a single dish that is less than stunning!
Also, a great 20% off discount when dining in on certain days.
A fantastic, benchmark Indian Restaurant!

Really nice, just what I needed. I was by myself and had just finished the West Highlands Way and really fancied a curry to celebrate.
Came here and, despite being a very popular spot, they were able to fit me in. The restaurant was very busy (always a good sign) and despite this the service was exceptionally good - food was at my table in a timely fashion and, most importantly, the staff all were all very friendly and welcoming.
I had a really good feed here, eyes bigger than belly I'm afraid though.
Would absolutely come back here and would totally recommend the place to anyone passing through or living in Milngavie.

People who knows me knows I'm a observer. Went upstairs to this restaurant and lil kitchen door was opened so I peaked through and can't tell you all, that even the kitchen was so neat and cleaned . It looked so very much hygienic like home kitchen and that's the reason the food was so fresh from a fresh kitchen. Fantastic restaurant and a lovely lovely staff. Service was very quick and we had a wonderful meal in a peaceful soothing atmosphere. Loved all the decor too. Thanks for the beautiful service. Highly highly recommend CLASSIC INDIA for pure authentic Indian food.
