Sushi San

Nice spot, but a bit hidden. Definitely worth a visit if you like fresh sushi, miso soup, and a nice selection of sake! Service was great, but the restaurant was a bit slow. With the quality of food not sure why it was slow. Compared to other nearby sushi locations, prices seem comparable or better! Worth a look!

I really loved this place, but my husband said the restaurant had an off smell and he didn't enjoy the food. I was stuffy nosed and couldn't tell, though. I will say that the miso soup is superb - the broth tasted homemade with light miso (seems like they used white miso) and had a hearty wakame flavor. Excellent assortment of rolls, and they have ponzu for folks partial to that instead of regular soy sauce.

Edit: I’ve been back 3 times since… they have provided above-and-beyond service each time. Even hooked us up a couple times with edamame and watermelon 😎 If you’re looking for good food, you found it. You may get confused at the menu and prices if you arrive as a newcomer. The sushi combos on the back of the menu are not served all day, but they don’t tell you that on the menu. Because they were not available, we shifted our choice last minute to the teriyaki salmon and roll combo listed beneath the sushi combos. They ended up charging us separately for both the salmon teriyaki and the roll when they were supposed to be together. I’ll give it to them, they tried to save customer service with a free sushi roll. I would have rather had saved money from getting the combo. I may be back to try again, but they definitely need to update their menus.

This is one of my favorite sushi places for family events. The food is delicious, imo, and fresh. The staff is friendly and courteous. They are very helpful, especially when you are undecisive like me when it comes to food! Our favorite roll happens to be the ASU roll. Cute theme to the menu, as it's named after the area. The environment is very relaxed, and it's one of my absolute favorite 🍣 spots.

My boyfriend and I have been coming here for years. It’s truly a gem. The sushi is so delicious and well crafted, with a great variety. It’s family owned, and they are all so friendly. Recently, we’ve been challenging ourselves to try and find a roll we DON’T like. It is a difficult task. We’ll continue to come back to sushi san!
