The Cellar

The Cellar is definitely one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in a while, and I say that because the food is 5 star dining! Flavourful, presented extremely well and the service was above average! I had an event for my son on July 31st, 2021 and once I contacted Allison she was extremely helpful & patient with me. The Chef (Craig) was AWESOME! He customized a menu that worked perfect for my group and he also took care of the kids with different options! His food definitely has me craving for more! My husband and I will definitely be going back for our date nights! The Cellar has also become our GO TO venue for our events! Enjoyable ambiance, class & food! Thank you Allison & Craig! Just went in today with my husband for our anniversary. Beautiful atmosphere, delicious food and incredible service- when they found out it was our anniversary, brought us a cheesecake on the house. We have been trying to stay local and support businesses in Georgetown- we are so glad we do - this helps incredible places like the Cellar continue to exist. Highly recommend!

I wanted to reach out and say thank you to the entire staff at the Cellar restaurant, we recently celebrated my brother's 60th birthday and had a party of 14 people!!! The ambiance, food and courteous staff was nothing short of amazing!!! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone who asks!!! 5 star all the way!!!! Cheers

Was definitely looking forward to an upscale meal and a great romantic date night but while the food was pretty good sadly this wasn't a romantic evening. Although sectioned well, the atmosphere was less than intimate. A gentleman was playing an electric guitar to a sound track. He was good but in a very small place with 10 to 12ish tables, it was too loud. People were talking over the music & we could barely hear each other speak. After a long work week, I was extremely disappointed at how the chatter escalated. Dinner: A caesar salad starter presented well and tasted very good. A table close by ordered 2 seafood platters. They were 2 tables away but it was very pungent🤢 After the starter, we both ordered steak. One tenderloin medium ,one striploin medium rare. The chef got it backward and both were under seasoned. We had to send them back after already waiting 1 hour . Disappointing. Take 2. The refire on the steaks were very good ,seasoned well and we enjoyed our meals with correct temperatures! Now for dessert. My go to is Creme Brulee. I've had this dessert in many restaurants. This version was hands down the best creme brulee I've had in a very long time. Over all the meal was very good once corrected. Meals 4 star Dessert 5+star Ambiance 2 star Avg 3.6 rounded up 4 stars
