Ever since we moved to Georgetown we made our first trip to this particular Thundercloud. As is always the case we were pleasantly stuffed afterwards. It's super easy to place your order online and swing by the restaurant to pick it up a short time later. Nobody was there when we arrived. The double meat New York Italian is one of my favorites. I never get tired of it plus it always satisfies my cravings for a cold cut sub. But I love most all the other subs too! Great sandwiches, great institution.
Update 4/7/21: I was disappointed in my most recent visit. After picking up my online order of a small double meat hot pastrami I got home and discovered hardly any meat that was also cold. I only live 5 minutes away and saw them place it on the pickup rack as I walked in the store. Oh well, I guess stuff happens. It must have been a new sandwich artist that day. They usually get it right so I'll keep going back.

The bread on my sandwich today was stale and the blonde kid who made my sandwich was just plain rude. My tab was 8.21 and I gave him $20 then .21 and he said "I already rang it up" pitiful!! He slammed my cup on the counter when I said "where do I get my drink cup". Won't go there again.

Huge shoutout to ThunderCloud Subs Georgetown! When I went to big up our large group order, the order had not yet shown up on the managers screen. No problem, the ThunderCloud Subs staff took my printed order and had it ready in 12 minutes and it was spot on. As always delicious! They didn't sweat it and made it happen. One of our local favorites.

Most sub shops are average. This one was definitely above average. I got the New York Italian and the wife got the Californian - both were excellent! Definitely recommended!

Food was pretty decent, very filling and good portions for the price. Really impressed about the precautions the staff took about the whole china flu thing. The guy making my sandwich was wearing a mask and was nice. Didn't catch his name but he was very tall lol
Will probably come back again soon!

Love, love, love these sandwiches and this store. Staff is very friendly and my sandwich is always perfect.
Beautiful little area in downtown Georgetown. The restaurant is very clean and plenty of seating, if you are looking to dine in.
