We enjoy the mini-quiches as a treat for breakfasts on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Just right as single servings. As vegetarians, we love the leek and Gruyere quiche; my dad loved the ham and Swiss. Creamy, moist, and delicious, even heated the next day. For holidays, order early; pay in advance; and arrive at a pre-set time for pick-up.

Very disappointed that I sent pictures of something very simple to do for the baby’s first birthday. They charged a fortune for a little 8 inch cake they didn’t look anything like the pictures. Even a little smash cake that I sent photos of were not even the same colors. But the worst worst worst part of it is, I ordered buttercream frosting. There was some kind of strange thicker whipped cream with lard like texture and barely sweet. The center layer was thick with that stuff. As we were cutting the cake which was supposed to be a white cake, it was crumbling so we had to cut very thick pieces. We had it sit on the counter the exact length of time they said to have it sit out. Everyone looked at each other as we were tasting it wondering where the buttercream was that I was talking about. I kept saying it’s supposed to be buttercream, but then when we actually tasted it, it was definitely not butter cream. It was probably one of the worst birthday cakes I’ve ever tasted. Definitely not artistically done at all. I should’ve done my own. I really love the Cakery but they were closed for vacation and that was my first choice. This is a far cry and I mean a very far far far far far cry from the quality I would expect from a bakery. I called the owner to say it was not butter cream and he was in denial. If they think that’s butter cream and it taste just like thick whipped cream, he needs to learn with buttercream is. It ended up being such a small cake and between that cake going over $70 for the 8 inch and $15 for a little 4 inch all I know is we were over $102. I should’ve gone to Jewel LOL. It would’ve been much better.
