A wonderful venue for a family celebration or dinner with friends. We were there for a 7 th birthday lunch with the family. Buckley’s was packed with happy families doing the same thing this Sunday. Its so family friendly with the best activities I’ve ever seen for kids of all ages. The Menu was small but had all the favourites on there. The serves were large every thing was bulked up with fries though. The ice cream bar is a huge hit where you get to make your own concoction and then pay by weight. They turned out to be roughly $8 each. The seating at the bistro is varied with different sections. The booth tables with the tv screens were popular with the people that meed that. There was a 2 hour limit on dining during covid restricted covid rules. The staff were very attentive and pleasant. There were huge function rooms available and a large gaming and small TAB. What a great ppub and restaurant. So the kids play ground is very neat, tidy and clean, there is a movie room type set up that kids can chill in with bean bags and chairs, there is some pay for games up stairs and also some pay game claw machines, which are a tad annoying because the kids keep asking but still look fun. The huge climbing ropes and slide are a favourite. The food was delicious and huge...$27 for a parma is expensive it was expensive real chicken breast and huge. So we'll worth it. The chicken ceaser salad was soooooo good. The venue itself has awesome tables with TV's at the end, I attached a photo, its seriouslyover cool, either kids shows to make mum n dads night easier or a footy game to watch with mates and beer.. very cool and something iv not seen before. I would say this place would suit almost anyone . Then there is the icecream bar that you can choose your toppings. I t s great because if you just want a little bit of f I c e cream then you serve yourself just a little bit of it. The kids loved it. The service was really quick, we were there mid week lunch. The staff were really friendly.

Been here a few times now so it's time for a review. I've tried a Parma, variety of steaks, ceasar salad, along with different sides. All seemed to lack something, the Black Angus 400g rump, dry, overseasoned with salt and pepper, even cooked medium rare it was tough both times I tried it. Accompanied by a small lackluster salad with a sour salad dressing, a oddly rough textured garlic butter that tasted like it was in the clearance section of your local IGA deli, and chips so plain that I'd rather have a side of maccas fries... The ceasar salad isn't much better. Although the chicken isnt bad it's ruined by a yet again sour tangy salad dressing. Wiltered lettuce and a sparing handful of croutons. The Chicken Parmigiana was mostly standard, but quite dry topped what looks like crushed tomato's more than a sauce, biting into tomato skin with your chicken isn't exactly pleasant... Overall I'd rate this restaurant/pub a 2 out of 5. There are much better places to go for are both cheaper and serve tastier and better quality meals. The whole bistro is also very loud when it's full bad navigating the crowd of people at tables right next to the bar and the kitchen is too much sometimes.

Don’t understand the hype. Food is rubbish. Staff are incredibly rude and yelled at my Sister & Brother in-law for no good reason. Will never be back. Staff tried taking my wife’s and my food away and we weren’t even half way through the meal. Way overpriced for what it is. Can get a lot better service and better quality food for a hell of a lot cheaper.
