Five Guys Gateshead

This place is a regular fast food joint who do really nice comfort foods. However, I particularly like one of the servers because he goes above and beyond whenever I visit. I don't know his name but he has to be one of the best I've ever come across when it comes to customer service. Once, my son had left his toy in the restaurant and he came running over to me to another restaurant to drop it off to me.(We told him we were taking the chips to Wagamama). He's a credit to Five Guys and a credit to himself. Give him a pay rise.

Brilliant experience, staff are all so helpful and friendly. Lady who served us was very pleasant, even said if you run out of fries just let us know! Young man working there automatically ran over to move chairs around for my Mam’s wheelchair. When we asked if it was ok to get a few more fires, he insisted on getting them and came back with a bag full! Food was lovely, fries too die for and the milkshakes are very well prepared. We especially loved the drink options, Dr Pepper Cherry Vanilla mmm. We will be back soon,. The burgers are a bit pricey but now we understand don’t need to buy fries for everyone it makes it much more reasonable. We will be back soon as the atmosphere was lovely, nice to see people enjoying helping customers with smiles on their faces. Five Guys should be very proud of your staff here!

Fabulous experience and burgers. Staff were so lovely and helpful - guided us through our first time ordering and explained to us how the free toppings worked. We loved the way the drinks machine worked! You can filter by sugar-free and caffeine-free easily and the top ups are unlimited. The burgers themselves were fabulous quality and really delicious. Unfortunately we did not have the chance to try the fries but they looked delicious too. We will certainly be back to try the other menu items.
