Applebee's

I’m in town for work and I called to see how late they were open, and they informed me “midnight, but we shut the grill down at 11:30”. My coworker and I showed up a few minutes after 10:00pm and there were 6 cars in the parking lot. Upon entering there are 4 tables with people seated (two were already finished eating). We get seated and the hostess informed us that the grill was already off and there was VERY LIMITED items we could even order. No grilled food available (steaks, salmon, chicken, etc) no pasta available, you could get a salad, but no grilled chicken, they only had like 4 appetizers they could do because they can’t grill (due to worker shortage 🤔). We settled on spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer, my coworker ordered a burger and I ended up ordering an oriental salad with fried chicken (minus the almonds). FORTY-FIVE minutes after ordering our appetizer finally showed up and then another 25 minutes went by before our entrees arrived. My coworker asked for mayo at least 3 times and it never arrived. Below is the salad I received after waiting an hour and ten minutes. I understand worker shortage and all, but with the limited number of customers, it should have never taken that long. Plus the attitude of the server and staff wasn’t very good pretty lackadaisical - but adequate I suppose. I don’t write bad reviews as you can tell, but this was a very bad dining experience. Hopefully they can get some more help to improve this situation.

Came in to get a bite to eat and sat at the bar. The blonde bartender was very attentive to our needs. They appeared to be pretty short staffed as she was taking tables and had a busy bar. The food and drinks came out in a timely manner and she was very friendly and informed us that there was only one person cooking so food was taking a little longer to come out than usual which we appreciated but didn’t mind. All in all, it was a good experience and we will be back.

This poor Applebee’s. We showed up around 10:30 pm because it says they are open until 2 am, no doubt because casino’s are near by. We walked in and were greeted by a very friendly waitress. She told us to have a seat anywhere but wanted us to know they only had 2 servers. That was fine since we only wanted appetizers since it was so late. She did a great job. We ordered quesadillas that show 8 in an order. She brought out our order and apologized that it only came with 3 very small tortillas that were cut in half to make our order only 6. Don’t order the appetizer to split with anyone or order 2 just for yourself. Tortillas bought at a store are at least 6” round and these looked about 4” round and then cut in half. Well good thing they have 2 great servers helping each other because the food was not the greatest after 10 pm. Maybe we will try this location again. Always ask how many pieces you get with your order even if the picture has 8 regular size portions you may only get 6 small pieces. They were also out of silverware so I’m sure the kitchen was understaffed as well. I feel for the employees here. Just don’t be in a hurry or very hungry and you will get 4 star food but 5 star service! Way to go servers, good job, or this restaurant would only get 3 stars.

Just had dinner on a Saturday night…the restaurant was virtually empty (should have been my first sign)…they seated our family with little kids next to the pool tables where a drunk couple was having a very suggestive conversation. We received no silverware upon being seated. The server was short with us and didn’t seem happy to be at work at all…obviously a very poorly managed restaurant. There were flies everywhere…aggressively swarming our table inside…my steak was cut VERY strangely… more like a filet but it was a sirloin…and was undercooked. I’ve been in the restaurant industry for over two decades…this was the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. We won’t be back. You need to retrain your staff and do a better job managing this place or it will be out of business soon. Also, out of steak knives? Go to Costco and buy some! That’s crazy.

Great service, food was good....but, I ordered a steak and on the menu, says 2 sides...the waitress said only comes with one side, but I could pay for a 2nd one! THE MENU SAID IT COMES WITH 2 SIDES!!! We ordered the cake that comes with 2 scoops of ice cream...came out with only 1. I said it always comes with 2 scoops, she said not any more...I'm surprised she didn't say I could pay for the 2nd one! The steak was small with only one side and it was a small scoop of potatoes... and cost almost $20.00! Only got one scoop of ice cream instead of two, I think that was $7.00! Too much money for the little food received!!! The bathroom floor was nasty and the trash can was full and flowing into the floor! I'd give zero stars, but have to give one...2 different Applebee's in a row that disappointed me...I will never go to ANY Applebee's again, ever!!!

Wow.. I NEVER complain about my food or send anything back. The boy with the short bowl cut was awful. Tried to get his attention twice, he looked at us and kept walking. He's couldn't be bothered. The manager with the dirty blond pony tail was great!! She was pretty much doing everything by herself. Absolute rockstar!! 2 families walked out while we were here. I honestly feel like the staff don't respect her enough to do their jobs correctly. I only have a 2 start because of the manager! Her name is Tiffany. She was amazing.

So bad... It was hot in the restaurant, not sure if they had a broken A/C unit or just wanted to get people to leave. The service was slow or non existent. They didn't have strawberries for the kid's yogurt. And I didn't get my food when everyone else's came out, but the waiter didn't notice because he never came to check on us. Finally found him, asked for my food and then found out that another waiter had given it to another table, so they'd have to make it again. There were only like 6 tables occupied in the whole place, how'd that happen? The restrooms were nasty and even hotter than the restaurant. It just was an overall disappointment. We thought we got lucky that it wasn't busy on a Friday night, but I guess everyone else knew what we now know.
