Mac's Drive Thru

35 years and going as strong as ever, for good reason. Everything is cooked fresh to order, and tastes that way! Their fish sandwich is fantastic, and I always wind up getting that, but their hamburgers are delicious too! Yes, it's often extremely busy, but the line moves fast for the number of customers they're serving. They accept credit/debit cards now, which is great too. The prices are incredibly low, considering the quality. Beats the fast food places hands down.

My husband and I were curious about why the line of cars waiting at the drive thru during lunchtime for this place was down the block so we joined the line and waited for 20 minutes before being able to make our order... It turns out we were waiting for burgers comparable to Hawthorne's Burger Barn. They are OK and nothing to write home about, but if you like plain burgers that don't taste like cardboard and have the homemade feel to them, it's affordable enough. Pretty greasy and the fries were somewhat soggy too, so we're probably not coming back for a second try. Bless the hearts of those people who pile up just to get burgers from this place - seems so odd when the food is just OK. 🤷‍♀️

Okay this was my first time. The line went on for FOREVER. People parking in the lot across the street to walk up and order. This is 100% a drive thru. 2 lanes ordering and a window to walk up. ALL packed. And there is a reason. It’s really simply just darn good. It’s simple, lettuce, tomato, a few onions and melted cheese on my burger and a bun. Sauce was lite and didnt over whelm the burger. Fries not greasy but those wonderful small ones. Jumbo unsweetened tea was just that jumbo! They have coke products. And guess what CASH only!! So be prepared. Will definitely go back. Such a treat. Great price, nice people and good good food. You gotta try it!

I come here often with my husband and sometimes the kids. Food is always great. Service is what you expect at a drive thru . It's an old fashioned style place to order and inexpensive. I moved from the area shortly after finding this place and often pass thru in the evening or Sunday when they aren't open. That stinks, the burgers and chicken sandwiches are delicious.
