Ranazul

We had a group of four at Ranazul last night and had an absolutely fantastic meal! For $35.00, we all got an appetizer, main course, and dessert. The cappuccino and drinks were also delicious! The main reason we wanted to write a review is because of our server. I do not remember his name, but he was tall with longer hair, and provided us with incredible service. We had no idea that the restaurant closed at 8 PM and sat at our table until 10 PM. He never came to tell us that the restaurant had closed and never made us feel unwelcome. We felt absolutely horrible that we had stayed so long and sincerely apologized, and even then, he continued to make us feel completely welcome. Thank you for a great meal and for great service. I absolutely will be back!

We tried Ranazul for the first time last night and had a great experience! The food was awesome! Everything we tried was delicious! The 3 course menu can’t be beat for the value. I only took one star away because I think a lot could be done for the ambiance of the restaurant (felt a bit like a bright conference room) but we will return for the food 100%! Happy we tried this place.

Had a lovely dinner with my wife here. We both really enjoyed the 3-course special. They do not skimp on the food at all so the quantity (and quality) of the food for the cost seems extremely reasonable. The honey-soy (?) shrimp appetizer was great and I also loved the sopapilla dessert. The sopapillas seemed kind of flat compared to what I expected but they were still delicious! I would highly recommend coming for a special occasion and enjoying the 3-course meal!

The menu has changed a lot since the before the pandemic; I would have given it 5 stars before. It now is primarily seafood, although there is chicken and beef (but no steak). They no longer have vegetable sides or vegetable tapas. Oh, excuse me...under vegetable tapas, there is one listing: fried potatoes. Really? Why this restauraunt believes vegetables are "out" is beyond me. They also have a strange take on the idea of tapas, which is to be able to mix and match small courses. The "tapas" they have here are really the size of a small or medium sized meal; not bad in and of itself. (But it does severely limit the amount of tapas one can order.) However, couple that with the fact that the majority of the meals come with pre-ordained sides and accompaniments really defeats the entire premise of tapas. However, if you are looking for seafood restaurant, this may be a good choice for you.
