I pull up to the speaker for an after dinner treat with my toddler. It's around 8pm. I press the button and immediately they say, "It's going to be a 15 minute wait for your order." I said, "You don't even know what I'm ordering yet and it's only 4 cars in the lot - it still will be 15 minutes?" She says, "Yes". I proceed to order two pretzel twist and a natural lemonade (I really didn't fill like find another place and my son was already excited about the pretzels. So I waited) We got our order at 8:18pm. Granted the pretzels were hot but I've worked in fast food before and I'm certain it didn't take that long to cook to pretzels. What also frustrated me was there were two young girls playing in the front door. One was sitting on the food prep table, literally her bottom was on the table WITH HER FEET UP, the other was standing around on her phone. This is completely unacceptable and I hope the Operating Partner or District Manager see this.

I'm really starting to like this Sonic again. I've been coming here occasionally over the past 5 years, and the service has really improved the last couple of months. The carhops have been friendly, service has been fast, and the drinks have been good. Tip: I always order my drinks ahead on the app. You can get all drinks and slushes 1/2 price any time.

This Sonic provides a slightly better than average experience for a fast-food restaurant, but I'm not real happy about trying a new sandwich that's advertised as being on "Texas" toaat that is thicker than regular bread, yet it came on thin, regular bread. Not exactly the sandwich I was expecting. This Grilled Cheese Double Burger was delicious, but I'd love to know how it tastes as it's advertised.

Terrible experience. Ordered through the app. They bring me a terrible tasting slush that was suppose to be a “cherry limeade” slush but nope. These guys bring me a slush without any added fruits. No cherry or lime added. It tasted like bad ice and poor flavor. The popcorn nuggets were also very bad too. Just nothing but crumbs. I tipped these lazy workers for inedible food. I’m disappointed.

Literally took me 35 minutes for my order to just get taken. 1st time I pressed the button 15 minutes later someone tell me they will be with me in just a second. No big deal. I understand it is lunch time and busy. The light turns off a couple minutes later. Press the button again 10 minutes goes by and button turns off. I do this one more time and FINALLY someone actually takes my order. She lets me know it will be 10-15 minute wait which I reply “well I’ve already been waiting 30 minutes to order so I guess.” That’s just ridiculous. Even if they were checking in on the cal you would think if someone keeps pressing the same stall button they would be like hey maybe I should go check. I come here every lunch to get a drink and there is always a wait time. That’s fine again it’s lunchtime. However the person who took my order was rude and couldn’t even say hey I’m sorry that happened. We will get your order out to you as soon as possible. All you have to do is acknowledge where you messed up. Wait times because you’re busy do not need an apology. Repeatedly missing a customer that is different. Do better.

Came by last week to grab some happy hour drinks - waited over 20 minutes after hitting the button (more than once) and never even got so much as a "We'll be right with you" or any indication we would be served. In that 20 minutes we saw one vehicle get drinks - everyone else was just sitting there, waiting to order like we were (nearly every stall was full). We ended up just leaving and saw several others pulling out after us. I'm not sure if it was due to the staffing shortage, or what was happening, but we would have happily waited if we'd just been given any acknowledgement, or if there was a sign saying they were understaffed - anything!

I received the worst customer service from the Sonic on Preston Rd in Frisco. I tried to place an order at 8:55pm today……. I was told they were not taking any more orders because they closed at 9:00pm. I let them know I only wanted a drink , nothing that needed to be cooked. The microphone was turned off. No answer! The girl that came out to deliver to the car next to me looked straight at me a started laughing out loud. This is the second time at this Sonic I received poor customer service. I will take my business elsewhere.

I’ve been going here off and on for the last year, probably about a dozen or so times. It’s a pretty terrible experience. Food is very often 10+ minutes (after ordering ahead on the app), orders have been lost, orders are *always* wrong or missing an item. I get it, it’s Sonic…I don’t expect a quality product from the place, but I do expect to at least get what I order and for it to arrive quickly. I’m going to try the one a bit further south and see how it goes. If it’s as bad as this one, I’ll just delete the app and go somewhere else. I’ve been very disappointed, because we used to live near one off of Midway in Plano and it was fantastic.
