I had to update my review, as the food and service are back to excellent!! I had the lunch sashimi special, which was fresh and a beautiful presentation. It was served with a fresh side salad and yummy miso soup. The lunch bento box looked equally delicious. You get plenty of food for a great price. The unagi was amazing, as was the seaweed salad. I will definitely be back soon!!

After a long day at work in the office this is a Posh amazing place to relax and have a great flavored saki and some amazing sushi or sashimi rolls or cuisine. Simply wonderful customer service and new management shows promise. Too notch spot to enjoy sushi saki and fine dining. If you want something quick and delicious stop for lunch or dinner.

I think they were having a rough night so I'm willing to give them another shot... But wow...not the greatest experience. Cold food, super messy rolls, and generally not great experience (walked in and there was fire in the kitchen area that had just been put out... Everyone was ok). So...I know it wasn't a great experience but the kids did like the noodles...so there's that. Right?

Ordered from Uber eats the food was good but they forgot to pack the miso soup. Wasted a few extra dollars just for nothing.

The food here is pretty good. I was very wary eating sashimi and sushi in Texas, because I moved here from an island in the pacific where we get top grade fish and food is no question absolutely FRESH.
This restaurant is located in a strip mall so no problems parking.
The outside is a little dark so if you're not familiar with the place, you might miss it.
Upon entering, you're greeted most times and you sit and wait to be seated.
I've had some really great waiters but also a few that have been not so great. They're there physically but mentally checked out and that makes it a less than good dining experience.
The menu IS extensive. Too many options are very similar to one another so you can be overwhelmed in the beginning. I would recommend if it gets like this for you, just order your way down the list LOL
Fish tastes good, sushi rolls are good, presentation is good, and price is good for what you're getting. They have a good sized bar so a pretty good selection of beer, sake, etc.

I have always enjoyed Buddha Belly and there sushi is good but their service has really fallen off a cliff since they reopened their dining room. They continually misquote the to go order lead times. I just waited for an hour and a half after they quoted me 30 minutes. They then had the audacity to try to charge me full price. Not the right way to do business and I wish y’all had your operation in order. Gonna have to find a new sushi spot.
