Capitol Cafe

I am sadly disappointed in what has become of Capitol Cafe. I literally just left there today (1/12/21) and spent $45.00 on 4 bacon double cheeseburgers, one regular cheeseburger, two chili dogs, two fries and a onion ring. The price was not the issue. The low quality food is the issue. After spend $45.00 and waiting 15 minutes for the food I would expect my food to be fresh and hot especially being I was the only customer and they had no call in orders. I should have checked my food before I left. The Chili dogs were old, dry and almost burnt, The fries were old, stale and most of them were so hard you couldn't eat them. SO the chili dogs and the fries ended up in the trash. The burgers were the only decent part of the order. With no other customers or orders there was absolutely NO reason to be given such low quality food. I worked Food Service management for over 20 years and would have fired any cook what or server for giving food like I received today. Capital Cafe use to be one of the best places to eat in the area, Use to. I can say I will not be going back.
