Kfc

Haven’t been to this location in years and I was quite surprised at the service and the quality of food. I couldn’t find what I originally order on the menu but the drive thru employee helped assist in what I needed in a very kind, speedy manner. Definitely be back. Good job kfc little bit of kindness goes a long way.

I'm not the complaining type, I'm really not, but yikes. For weeks this place has been going downhill. Every time I order extra crispy chicken, it's bland and flavorless, like they forgot how to season it. If I order the original recipe, it literally crumbles off the chicken. The Mac and cheese is always ALWAYS cold and bland, and the mashed potatoes are always just kind of lukewarm. Ordered Nashville hot chicken and got what you see in the picture... Took it back and got the same thing again, but at least it was fresh this time? Not hot at all. It's like whoever was making it had no idea what this looks like. The fries were cold and hard, they remade those fresh at least. I ordered a famous bowl as well, which was cold and the cheese was one solid piece. Had something hard in it that hurt my tooth and ruined my appetite. The employee told me she didn't blame me for bringing it back, but the manager actually tried to convince me it was okay despite looking right at it. But hey, they gave me two packaged cookies as an apology. Yay.

This review is for the KFC in Fremont, Ohio KFC is open again, minus Long John Silvers. 😢. But they did bring back the buffet ☺, which doesn't mean as much to me since my WLS 👍. But it is KFC and it was good. The cost was under $10 which includes drink, so not too bad. Let me run down some if the items on the bar: Original and crispy chicken, BBQ pulled chicken. (sorry no buns for sandwiches except biscuits) cole slaw, mashed potatoes and brown gravy, macaroni and potato salad, baked beans, green beans, corn, stuffing, biscuits, country fried steak and white gravy(cfs was cut into smaller pcs if you just want a taste), vanilla and chocolate pudding, bread pudding (loved it), chocolate mousse, and I think I remember seeing a guy eating sliced peaches. I'm sure I missed an item or two, but that gives you the general gist. I would have loved livers and gizzard but you can't have everything... I guess. Overall I enjoyed the experience, however for my new stomach I probably could have done with a two piece meal, but the price wouldn't have been that much lower and wouldn't have included the drink. With the buffet I can get a taste of a few sides, instead of just two, and I can get the pieces of chicken I want in the style I want. If you're a big eater, or just want a little bit of several things, KFC can fill that order.

The entire meal was cold, the staff was rude, and thier poor quality control should be addressed immediately. When I called to tell the manager about the cold food and stale biscuits she began yelling at me over the phone, trying to tell me that the skin and dark brown lumps in the gravy were from in being in the warmer.... it obviously was not properly mixed and sat in a steamer for a helluva lot longer than the 10 mins between the time I placed the order via phone, and when my wife showed up to pick up our dinner.
