Panera Bread

Food was good like usual and service was nice. However, it looked like the apocalypse occurred in the bathroom. Also, I understand that after lunch rush hour it will take a while to get everything cleaned back up again in the dining area but it was really dirty and needed attention. I also have sympathy for the homeless but it definitely changes the feeling of the atmosphere when you have to look at a shopping cart parked in the dining area. At least ban the shopping cart so other customers especially the elderly have enough space to walk by safely.

Not for picky eaters- or maybe just not for people that don’t like rotten lettuce. For such an expensive salad, you’d think it would be a tasty one. I’d like to say half, but really the entire salad was rotten. It’s in the taste too, not even the cheese, walnuts, dressing, and apple chips can cover up this gruesome salad. Never once have I gotten a good salad, and I’ve been going here for years. If you’re visiting, I’d opt for a fly infested dessert, because at least those taste good.

The food here is good, if you can eat gluten. For a place named Panera BREAD, having no gluten free options when everyone else is coming out with them isn’t acceptable. The price of their food consistently goes up with no new options and by the time you get your food from the drive through you’ll have more gray hairs than when you started. It’s THAT slow.

I went up to the counter to pick up my husband's and my food which were on plates, but not on a tray. I asked for a tray because I was using a cane with one hand and had only one hand to carry with. (My husband just had ankle surgery.) They looked at me dumbfounded until I had to ask for help carrying. A customer service oriented business would have immediately offered to carry my food without me having to ask and would have carried both plates instead of only one. I appreciated the help, but businesses could take a lesson from Chick-fil-A who wouldn't have to be asked.

I ordered three items - half salad, half sandwich, and an almond smoothie for 12.58 but what I got delivered was two smoothies for $19.09. I called and they just told me to reorder. This is way too expensive for me. I don’t trust that my next order will be right now and I don’t want to waste my money.

I normally enjoy Panera, although it seems a bit expensive in my opinion. I went to the Central Park Fredericksburg, Va location today. I always customize one of the breakfast sandwiches, and I pay extra for extra egg whites. Today my sandwich was poorly made, thrown together and very messy, and there was NOT any extra egg white. I was in a hurry and chose not to bring it to the attention of the manager employees, but it was not okay to pay extra for food that I did not receive.
