Kernel Sweetooth

Went here because we were passing by and decided to stop. The two teenagers at the ice cream counter were helpful and one was being trained. We ordered salted caramel ice cream which was good. We purchased cheesy popcorn and bacon cheese popcorn. You can skip the bacon popcorn. The cheese popcorn was good, but if you don't want to hear the wax sound when you eat it don't try it. I did order a marshmallow S'More on a stick and that was great. Had it for breakfast and it was yummy. I would go back if I was out that way and try a different ice cream, but won't go out of my way.

Been coming down here for years. Great prices, great service and awesome food. Love their ice cream and popcorn. Have a great variety of candy as well. Staff is always friendly, helpful and accommodating. They offer competitive prices compared to the other shops in the area. The always open on time and always greet you with a smile.

This place has a cute old-fashioned look to it, and I thought it would be a nice place to go after a day in the park with my daughter. What a disappointment! Behind the counter a very disinterested teenager played on her phone although every table in the place was filthy. And I mean filthy! Straw wrappers, crumbs, and dried ice cream on every table. I should have left when I had my chance. Instead I ordered a scoop for me and my daughter. We were given the cheapest of plastic spoons to work through low quality ice cream that the consistency of gum. The whole time the spoons are bending and barely getting through. For as much as they charge, you would think they'd give you a real spoon. Anyway, down the road on Nebraska and Rt. 45 is the Creamery a much better place!
