Asian Buffet

definitely not the best Chinese buffet, but it's a convenient location and very low priced. The trade off for the low price/convenience is that it's not very clean (carpet is dirty and many of the booth seats ripped/perma-stained) and the food is frequently kinda old under the heat lamps. It's also unusually low lighting in there. It's the drunken one night stand of Chinese buffets, as you leave and make the walk of shame back to your vehicle you silently hope that no one you know spots you.

I'm sorry, but I cannot hold my tongue anymore. My sister and I, along with my great niece and great great nephew dined here in the early Spring. The food was tasty, fresh, and the service was nice. I've been back three times since then, and the food is now just plain awful. My sister and I went tonight (9/3/19) and after taking the first bite of my food, I had lost my appetite. Why? Because I found some sort of nasty paper in my food--almost choked on it. We were there for 30 minutes. No fresh food was ever brought out and what was there was surely left over from lunch. I told my sister I would never go back and I mean it. I don't know what has happened but if they want to survive, they need to hire someone who knows how to prepare Cantonese food.

Lady greeting us and filling drinks was very nice. And my first bite of crab Rangoon was great too. But that was it. It's obvious no one cares about this place. Some food was barely warm. Much had no taste. There is equipment laying around in every nook and cranny. The bathroom smelled like pee and mold. It was very dark and this was during the day. I wanted it to be good. The health department has to be paid off to allow them to be open. Maybe they are getting some service by others, like was in the back last year when they were raided for sex trafficking. Goto China Buffet across town. Always good.

The food here is pretty good when it's freshly made. Usually doesn't taste too good if it's been sitting out for some time, but usually when I go they constantly bring out new trays of food when a certain food is running low. The services is pretty good but most employees seem very serious and don't have as much energy. It's nice to eat here if you're looking for a quiet and non crowded place.

Food is good, not the best but way better than China Wok. I haven't tried China Buffet on the west side so I can't compare. Prices are great, actually cheaper than I would have expected to pay, maybe prices need to be increased some to boost their business. Servers are friendly and quick to take finished plates. The place is falling apart though. Many sections of restaurant is closed. Ladies bathroom is ok but needs some updating. Very dark and noticed many lights are burned out or flickering.
