A Rula

Came for a walk along the wonderful coast. But needed some lunch before. We just came down from our parking spot and seen this place. There were some few locals in there having lunch. Looked authentic and good. So we sat down at a table outside. Our Bulldog was welcome as well. Just ordered a quick lunch: a plate of grilled sardines, pimentos and raxo (a dish with marinated pork and potatoes). Also two glasses of white wine. Altogether it came down to less than 25 Euros. Staff and owner were very friendly and welcoming. Food was cooked by order freshly. The Pimentos had a nice size and a good grill-flavour. The Raxo was a big, nice plate full of meat. The potatoes a bit greasy though. The grilled Sardines were perfection. Nice, fresh and perfectly grilled. White wine was fresh, crisp and fruity. The place does look a bit worn and could use some paint there and there. But the folks here are wonderful people and the food for what it is (Tapas and Raciones) nicely done. We were happy with our lunch.

Local que parece pequeño, pero con un buen espacio interior. Frente a la Ría, con una pequeña terraza de mesas altas. Personal muy amable, muchas raciones, sardinas frescas y mucho más. Pincho de cortesía que ofrecen repetidamente para satisfacción del cliente. Muy recomendable. Parking gratuito por la zona.

En principio estábamos tomando una jarra de ribeiro, nos pusieron unos mejillones a la vinagreta de tapa (muy ricos) . Después pedimos unas raciones , mejillones a la vinagreta ,rabas de calamar, y raxo (con sus patatas y pimientos del padron). Ponen cantidad abundante a buen precio. No llego a 40 euros y eso que pedimos también dos cafés y chupito .
