Applebee's

My food and drink were delicious! I think they were short staffed and behind because I had my food for 5 mins before I got a drink, napkins, or even silverware. Everything tasted great though! Updated on 6-17-2022 Much better this time! Food wash delicious as were the monthly special drinks! Berri was an awesome bartender!

Haven’t been to Applebee’s in Fort Payne in a very long time tonight I remember why. When our boneless wings came out they barely had any sauce and was way over cooked. As for the entrée the bourbon street chicken was dry and too much seasoning. Not once did our server Connor offer refills. I usually don’t leave negative comments but Applebee’s of Fort Payne please get it together.

We enjoyed dining at this location, unlike the Applebee's locations along Interstate 5 in the west. They were short staffed, like many locations around the country. However, the wait staff was polite and attentive. The food was very good. Good food, considerate, friendly service, ample portions, and competitive, reasonable prices. What more do you want at lunch?

The last two times we’ve visited this Applebee’s both took us at least two hours before we were back out the door. Both times, the waiter/waitress were friendly, nothing bad.. just nothing very good either. Food is okay. My husbands chicken had to be recooked, but they fixed it no problem for us. The staff hesitantly sang happy birthday for my son, and he got some ice cream which turns out you have to pay for. But that is fine, I would’ve paid for it anyway. My husband loved the “the rock” special margarita. So, overall, not good, not necessarily bad. I don’t think we’re going to go back, at least for a good long while. Definitely not worth planning your whole evening around bc it will take all evening. No one is in a hurry to do anything there.

Went there for dinner. Sat 8 minutes with no greeting. Made eye contact with manager who picked up empty drink glasses from table next to us. She said nothing. The kid who sat us finally comes back for drink order. They were out of Coke and Dr Pepper. Then we ask if he can take our food order. No he says unless it’s an appetizer. We left. I understand short staffed. I don’t understand poor inventory control and the fact that we could not order food.

Myself along with 6 other people were at this location of Applebees and had placed our orders. Approximately 25 minutes later the meals started being brought to our table. After the waitress had brought out a meal that no one had ordered she made the statement that the last one that didn’t have their meal must have ordered the meal that wasn’t ordered at all. Then corrected her mistake of placing the wrong order by putting the correct order in “after “ everyone else already had their meal. By time that last meal got to the table everyone else was finished with their meal and ready to leave. The one that had not eaten yet because of the mistake the waitress had made by placing the wrong order refused to eat or pay for the meal from the frustration of it being late and the waitress trying to claim it was the customers mistake. So after the customer went through explaining all the above to the manager they still wanted the tea “that wasn’t “good “ tea to be paid for. I myself will never be going to an Applebees again just from the experience I witnessed at this location.
