Captain D's

The food was fine, no complaint there. The store was horrible and they had several employees working. We have visited this location for years, our kids have always looked forward to Captain Ds night since they were little! It’s kind of tradition that was carried over from going here with our grandparents as kids! We visited yesterday for lunch, and the store was so nasty. So so nasty. Once again, the food was fine but unfortunately you didn’t even want to stay in the store to eat it due to the uncleanliness. Not just garbage cans overflowing, but food caked onto walls, on the floors, tables covered with food and trash. The nastiness on the walls and floors looked like it had been stuck on for weeks not just from a busy lunch hour. I really hope some TLC can be shown to this store. It would be so sad to see if go down hill like many others in the Fort Oglethorpe area have done.

6/09/2022: The food was absolutely amazing here today and the staff was professional, and attentive... unlike the staff that I encountered a little over a year ago. Keep up the good work! 8/16/2021 : A much better experience today! Excellent customer service and the food was extremely good! Great job!! Today's corn and fish 5/10/21 Brown corn. I called and spoke to Sarah. The corn was put in this morning. She didn't notice it was brown she made the plate.She would be happy to replace the corn.. .so I can drive all the way back there to get a piece of corn? Not.. now I know why the parking lot was empty at dinner time. 2020 Got two 3-piece fish dinners and was denied free cups of the tartar sauce that is not pre-packaged. They're not allowed to give the tartar sauce out unless you get a family meal. I had to purchase two cups of tartar sauce to go with the fish that I purchased. ($2.15) ..What if I dined in? Could I squirt the sauce into little cups for free or Do I have to pay for it?? How ridiculous!!! I won't be back! *** WELL... here it is a year later and I went through the same garbage all over again today !!!. ..Why can't I get a cup of tartar sauce for a three-piece meal? Totally ridiculous! If I dined in I can eat as much as I want of it and trust me I will use a whole Cup on three pieces of fish! Had to cancel my order.

The service was TERRIBLE took almost an hour just to get my food. I have 3 children and they all sat hungry like that for almost an hour. I really had high expectations for this place. It used to be sooo good. Now it’s honestly baffling the way you get treated there. Some of the servers have lice because I could see it falling out when I was there. Like this place is just down right aweful. Fort o please do better and get your employees to check their heads before coming to work in the food industry.

I ordered what I thought was a relatively simple order: grilled fish and shrimp with no rice or bread (I'm doing a paleo diet) and broccoli and green beans on the side. I had to wait what felt like 10 minutes for my food. The fish and shrimp were cold and soggy when they arrived, and the fish itself tasted like depression.
