The Pickled Okra

I wanted to like this little place so much, but they just wouldn't let me. I will say the hamburger was very good. Other than that, it was a struggle. We were there on a Monday and the list of what they were out of was longer than what they had. My husband wanted the cheesesteake, they didn't have it. He got a Ruben, they didn't have rye bread so he got wheat and when it came out was the saddest little sandwich. Had very little meat on it. The potato salad was nothing I wanted to eat. If you go, don't go on a Monday and do get a hamburger.

This was a great little stop off the exit, so glad we went here instead of a chain restraunt! The decor is rustic and homey. The kids lived the southwest egg roll and cheese curds. I recommend the cheesesteak tacos, so yummy! I ordered okra on the side and the breading was light and crispy. Highly recommended stopping by and enjoying the picturesque setting around this area.
