The ambiance is top notch. Very cozy. Shelves of books are probably untouched, but give the illusion of having time to savor a good one with a cup of coffee. Delightful!
Service was neither friendly nor unfriendly.
As for the coffee itself, the Sumatra was good, not great and pretty warm, not hot.
There are some delightful places to sit, but all tables are small and have two chairs. If you're coming with more than that, it may be difficult.

Best of both worlds—inexpensive coffee that tastes AMAZING. I went 2 times while I was visiting the area from out of state. Both times I received wonderful service.

I really like this little coffee shop. The biggest deterrent for me though is the fact that they do not accept debit/credit cards. I actually have skipped out in it before because I do not have cash most of the time. Other than that, I have no real complains about this establishment. I love the older decor and atmosphere. I have always had good service as well.
