Mapo tofu was super good. The gou bao rou wasn't that good. Meat was dry and tough and the sauce was too over powering compared when eaten at a dongbei restaurant in China. The sauce there is balanced between the sweet, sour, and ginger and cut with enough thickened water to be able to taste the marinated meat.

We came in for a late lunch, so the place was pretty empty. We ordered the dumplings with fermented cabbage, hot and sour soup (it was a very cold day, and we were freezing,), and the loofah with shrimp. The dumplings and soup were very good. The loofah, what a surprise! It was absolutely fantastic. The melon was soft on the outside, but somewhat crunchy on the inside. We thought the shrimp were fresh, not frozen, because they were smooth and sweet. The sauce was subtle and delicious. It’s a clear sauce with a hint of seafood, so we thought maybe they made it with the shrimp shells. Everything came out at once, so another time we might ask them to hold the dishes we were going to eat later in the meal so they wouldn’t get cold. One warning, the servings are huge!

This place is really a 3.5 stars. I did not like the pig knuckles, noodles and the dumplings were just ok. The beans were excellent along with the lamb, chicken and frog meat. The place was a little pricey.

FLAVOR! Excellent selection of North-Eastern Chinese dishes. Even have 腊肉 which is rare to find outside of China. Came for lunch and had two lunch specials. Great taste, but could have been made way better by serving the food on warmed plates - cooled off quickly. Service was helpful, informative, but standoffish. Better decor than most Asian restaurants and suitable sound absorption well-covered the effect of other customers' loud talking. Will come again!

Not sure what happened to those customers who gave bad reviews. Hopefully everything goes well. But this restaurant is on my top list. Good service, decent quantity of food plus fast cooking. Amazing!

Great Chinese food. I had their fish, dried tofu with beef, sweet and sour pork, and more. All plates were delicious and were shared among family members and friends. I enjoyed this place a lot!
