Yeh's Bakery

It's been a hot hot hot minute since I came here after I moved to Long Island Suburbs. My son's big day today and I took a trip here to pick up my custom strawberry cake layered with their famous lightly sweetened freshly whipped cakes. When you step inside It's as if you step back in time. My mom first took me here when I was 11 or 12 and this place still look the same. The bakery captures a lot of customers from the surrounding businesses such as the hospital. It's great to see a flow a diverse crowd visiting this Gem. I also picked up half dozen curry beef pastry and their chicken rolls. I took a bite and taste just like my first time eating them in the 1990s when I was a little boy. When I want a good delicious healthier cake I come to Yeh's.

It’s a little “old school” bakery. We love it! No “sugarcoating” here,they bring the fresh baked buns from the back in the big tray…everything so fresh,smells amazing. I grab egg w scallion bun that’s become my favorite! My girl swears for the sponge cake. Price and coffee also great! This is not a place where you can seat down and eat that’s a grab and go,cash only. Delicious!!

If you are ever in the area, even 15 mins away, do come and buy a Boston pie. This place has been in operation for decades and they whip the cream themselves fresh every single day!! The price has gone up a bit, I think we last purchased it for over $10 but it’s super worth it. I would get it every week if I lived in Queens :)

9.5/10 Strawberry cake. It’s one regular layer on top with crème in middle and thick base layer. Not too crazy sweet like most bakeries, very soft, and right amount of crème. Wish they made 3 layers, it would have been perfect 10/10. The chicken roll is better than Fay Da’s bakery’s chicken roll. The curry beef itself is very good but somehow clashed with the pastry, not a fan. The sponge cake roll is very good. This place is a hole in a wall. Glad I found this place. Our new Chinese bakery Edit: Came back April 20. Ordered cake with vanilla. 9.9/10. The two layers are equal this time, unlike the strawberry which had uneven layers. Very soft layers with right amount cream. Cake disappeared within minutes. Shame no good soft angel cakes in LI, had to drive all the way from Long Island to this bakery just for good cake.

Without a doubt, the best bakery in Queens! Their cakes are so fluffy, light, perfect amount of sweetness and absolutely refreshingly delicious. Aside from cake, their green bean mooncake, curry dumpling pastry, and Boston cream pie are amazing. Our family's go to bakery for all festivities and just because.

Pastry lovers has to come here! Amazing bakery with a lot of pastries to offer! Location: It is located in Main Street Flushing. The bakery is small, no seating so just go here and buy all you want. There is an amazing display of pastries, cookies, breads and cakes! Service: they were nice actually, waited for me to choose and take pictures inside the bakery. Food: BOSTON CREME PIE: this was so good! So fluffy and the cream inside is so light that I won’t feel guilty eating it! It resembles Japanese jiggly cheesecake but this way lighter and better! They have a boston creme pie strawberry too. GREEN TEA CAKE: it was perfect sweetness, the matcha is not overpowering! Price rating: 5/10, the price is very reasonable. OMG I will definitely go back here to try their other goodies!! Boston Creme Pie was the bomb!
