My husband, son, sister, brother in law and I ate here last week and we were very happy with the food and price. I had a chicken wrap and fries. My son had the kids chicken taco. My sister and brother in law both had buffalo chicken dishes. All the food was fresh and hot. Drinks were kept filled. Price was great for the amount of food!

No surprise only 55% as of today like this location.. My wife and a couple of friends ate here yesterday. I've seen some skimpy portions relative to price in my day, but this one I think takes the cake. I made the mistake of ordering the fish and chips basket at $10.29. Based on price and that this place has sort of that Irish pub thing going on about it, I figured I'd get something at least portion wise on par with an Irish Rover or Molly Malone's fish and chips. I kid you not, they brought me what looked like 4 glorified fish sticks to the table. The fish itself was clearly frozen and tasted like it was something from some Mrs. Paul's knockoff value pack in the frozen foods section of your local supermarket. I wasn't expecting the taste of fresh beer-battered Irish style fish and chips (which is roughly the same or not much more in price), but I was at least expecting something as for as a reasonable quantity. My wife ordered a blackened fish sandwich that was virtually tasteless. The couple with us ordered three appetizers and three drinks (two of which were non-alcoholic) and their tab came to $50 after their frugal tip was added to the bill for just that. <br/><br/>It seemed like the only thing of value were some domestic beer specials they were running. Though if you're the sort of person that enjoys sports on the TVs, you may be a bit disappointed with their selection even where that is concerned - we had a guy riding his motorcycle in circles on a dirt track or girl's softball for our entertainment. It makes me wonder if this is all a ploy by them to just get you to drink more since you're not going to get filled up unless you order two meals, nor will you be entertained if you're over the drinking age. It's the only method to the madness I can come up with.

Food is so BLAHHH. OK, since Floyds Knobs does not have any place good to go, I guess Beef's is better than nothing... but it's just a plain ole "nothing special" place to go. Enough said - It's a Beef O'Bradys... nothing special, I cringe when it's my friend's turn to pick a place because he LIKEs it...<br/><br/>Food is very plain, nothing has any good flavor (potatoe soup is horrible - tastes fresh out of metal can - yummy). Nothing is special, salads are not good, no real good reason to visit such a PLAIN, Blahhh place - of course in their defense, there is not really anything good in Floyds Knobs, so occasionally, we must end up somewhere

Try the Dubliner. This is a fairly predictable strip-mall sports pub with an Irish theme where I have stopped a couple of times on my way back to St. Louis from Louisville. On my most recent visit I had lunch and tried the Dubliner which I really enjoyed. They start with a nice base of mashed potatoes. Next is a nice piece of toasted bread, over which they lay a couple of thin slices of roast beef. They top this with a slice of melted swiss cheese, mushrooms and a rich, dark gravy. There's also a nice side of steamed broccoli. It was a great alternative to burgers and chicken fingers. It took a few minutes for my server to realize I was there, but after that she was very attentive and friendly. The place was fairly clean, had a good crowd and everyone was very friendly. I would go back. 3/5 stars.
