Beachcomber Tavern

This has become our go to place when stopping by Florence. They offer outdoor dining for fair days with a large indoor area that has a charming atmosphere. We had the clam chowder and French dip sub which were delicious beyond words. The chowder was fresh with the best clams I've had in probably a decade. The French dip was thick and smokey with some of the best roasted beef that complimented their house au jus divinely. The wait staff was friendly and attentive even when the pace started to get packed. We can't wait for our next visit to try more of their menu. They also have an amazing selection of craft drafts from all over the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Definitely stop by and have pint and a meal when visiting Old Town Florence, you won't be disappointed.

We absolutely love the staff and atmosphere. They have really good food, chowder and beer batter fish is yummmm. Also they have REALLY GOOD COFFEE! That’s a must for me because I like Baileys and other coffee drinks. And trust me, bad coffee ruins your hot toddy. So thank you everyone there✌️(yes we ride to)

Worked our way over from Crater Lake to the coast and needed some dinner before arriving at our final destination. We ended up at the Beachcomber Pud on Florence, OR, because they had the best beer selection. Well, to our surprise they also had some good food. I got the chicken, bacon, ranch na'an flatbread which was loaded with chicken and a bunch of yummy cheeses. Very delicious! And my friend got the clam chowder which she loved. The beers were also on point. Our server was friendly and quick. We sat outside as it was a nice day.

We went today July 1st to Florence and the Beachcomber. We sat outside which on a day like to today you want to, it wasn’t windy and there were a lot of people. We were very lucky to get the table when we did. I don’t remember our servers name, but he was fantastic! He was swamped! It did take a bit of time to get our food, again he was swamped. My husband ordered the Jumbo Prawns and fries and I had the Club Sandwich and Tots. The food was hot and fresh and huge portions. Our meal plus 2 drinks a piece, me 2 beers, (they have a huge selection of beer)! my husband had 2 rum and cokes. The total bill was about 62.00 but you’ll pay that anywhere In Florence and some places won’t have as good a service or the fun!
