Yellow River

Popped in here for a takeaway (to take back to the hotel) whilst away on business and Wow - I have been a lover of Chinese takeaways for a number of decades and todays was one of the best I’ve had. Salt & Pepper spare ribs - so tasty and melt in the mouth Salt & Pepper king prawns - different to any I’ve had before and so moorish Pork with Beansprouts - loverly textured pork with nice crunchy beansprouts and a sauce to die for. Special fried rice - full of mixed meat and as tasty as they come Sweet & Sour Chicken Balls - individually small in size (big portion though) but loverly and crunchy Very friendly reception by the team there. Can’t wait for my next scheduled visit in 6 month’s time.

I ordered the crispy duck and pancakes but all the pancakes seemed STUCK together and definitely the duck tasted a bit more SALTIER than usual. I also got chicken and sweetcorn soup 🍜 but seemed a lot THICKER than usual and had a few curly wurly’s in it. Highly recommend If your taste buds a wanting different flavours
