Where to start, the chairs are comfortable. The food was amazing, all made fresh from scratch. The chicken pesto was perfect. The gyro was tender and meaty with fresh pita. The salad was triple fresh! Our wait staff person Nataly was congenial and knew so much about the preparations as well as the history of the restaurant. It was a perfectly enjoyable evening. Oh and the drinks were yummy and unique. I had the floral gin. Great beer selection.

We were visiting the Grand Canyon. And we decided to eat in flagstaff. We chose this place and it was a great choice. The Mediterranean veggie pizza was so tasty. Also the rozzeto was so good. The calamari appetizer was tasty. The dessert was fine. But the pizza was the best! It was so authentic and different than other pizzas 🍕. Recommend it!

The atmosphere was beautiful. However the food was average at best. We got the bacon wrapped dates, which came out extremely burnt. We then ordered a cheese dip appetizer, which was extremely salty. We ordered 2 cocktails and a veggie pizza..the pizza was ok. Then the bill was about $85. It was definitely not worth the money.

My wife and I had a late lunch. We ordered the chop board. I had their red lager. My wife had a margarita. Both the beer and the margarita were excellent. The chop board was fantastic. It consisted of several types of cheese fruit and cold cuts. I don't remember just exactly what they were but all of them tasted really good. It was enough to make a meal for both of us. The service was very good. The restaurant was very pleasant looking. Clean and new. The prices were reasonable. Less than $30 including tip. Date night's really cool. Salad bottle of wine Pizza and dessert for $39. Was all really good. See the photos.

Tasty food and pretty good cocktails. Try the fig and honey margarita. I was curious how it would taste and it was better than I imagined. Although the regular margarita was much more to my liking.. the menu is very and many different options without being overwhelming. Overall quality of the food and flavor was better than most. Decor was a little bland but nicely separated between the bar and restaurant.. would go again when visiting Flagstaff

Taverna is way too hit and miss for the cost of the food and everytime I order or eat from here its a very expensive roll of the dice. The picture below is an example of what should be quality ingredients completely butchered by a chef that is either not trained well or just doesn't care. How this passed through whoever packaged this food I will never know. It's disappointing because when they get it right it's a lovely meal. Unfortunately, I keep losing the Taverna dice roll.

The staff was kind. Food is mediocre. I ordered salmon which was cooked well. The bed of rice was wet and chewy. The broccoli could have been steamed longer. The pizza was tasteful. The lamb tasted well and was cooked to order. The atmosphere was very nice and it was clean. Altogether a little pricey for food quality but a fresh look.
