Great ice cream, terrible owners. This place depends on high school aged kids (mostly females) to run their store(s). They are the ones who provide great customer service day in and day out. However, behind the scenes, the owners, especially the son are rude, uncaring and disrespectful. They see no harm in threatening to take money from their paycheck if they dare make an honest mistake. So before you go there and spend money on overpriced ice cream, please consider the staff who are treated like objects rather than human beings.

I've been a customer since the Fishkill store opened but I'm through. I'm tired of the inconsistency of servings. Today I found that my usual order which normally costs me $12 & change is now $16 and change but neither cup was even close to full. I don't blame the kids working there though, I blame those managing the business for lacking emphasis during training new kids on providing value for the dollars customers spend.

I like Cold Stone icecream 🍦 😋 shop because it tastes different than all the other popular brand icecream parlors locally. They have lots of different flavors and the taste is very delicious tasting. There's a Cold Stone in Fishkill and Poughkeepsie too which comes in handy when you feel like stopping for icecream when you're driving in Dutchess County. The only negative is that their icecream is expensive in my opinion.

I went in with a couple of friends and as we were deciding what to order 3 of the employees were having a fairly loud conversation about how they are mistreated as employees. This is probably not my place to say anything but one of the employees literally said “They wonder why people always quit and it’s because the management/owners don’t know how to run a business properly or even talk to their employees with respect.” If that doesn’t say EVERYTHING you need to know about this place I’m sure what else will. It’s been about 2-3weeks since and I haven’t been back and I really hope those employees working that night quit very soon and get better opportunities where they will be respected.

I went into the Fishkill NY location to order a large strawberry passion ice cream cake. This order was for Tuesday 24 hours later. When I brought the cake home and served it. I was embarrassed and disappointed to say the least, the cake was dry and stale the strawberries were rotten, yes rotten. I was so mad. I truly believe this cake had been sitting in their cooler and all they did was pull it out write on it and put it up for when I arrived. I had already cut the entire cake into slices to serve out. Awful not to mention 50$ later no cake could be eaten. Never again
