Faraci Pizza

I love Faraci's Pizza. I've been eating their pizzas and other food items for over 40 years. I was first introduced to Faraci Pizza by my first high school boyfriend back in 1975. The current owners worked for the previous owners when we were in our early teens. The food is still delicious. Dawn, her hubby (please forgive me for not remembering his name) and the rest of the staff are friendly, kind and respectful service. Over the years I've introduced Faraci's Pizza to many, family and friends. I've never had any complaints about the food or service, nor any complaints from others. To me Faraci's Pizza is the best pizza in North St. Louis County, MO. Two years ago during I ordered pizza on Saturday evening. I went to pick up my pizza. When I got ready to leave my car wouldn't start. One other customer had cables and jumped started my and suggested I leave my car running. I couldn't didn't have extra keys to lock the doors. Anyway, when I got ready to leave the car didn't start again. I went back in Faraci's to find out if anyone had cables and could they help me. Dawn's husband, another customer there at that time (who use to work for Faraci's) and this young man's dad help to get my car started. I left the parking lot and stopped at the stop sign next to their business and my car stopped running. Lucky for me these men were still outside making sure I was alright. When my car wouldn't start they pushed my car onto Faraci's parking lot. Dawn's husband said my car could stay their as long as I needed to. I found a way home that evening, very disappointed about my car, but was glad that these people were their to help me. And when I got home I had great pizza 🍕 to look forward to eating. This is what people mean when they say "STL syle" pizza! Here's my breakdown: Crust: Light and airy, with that perfect crisp. Not too dry, but holds the pizza together perfectly. Sauce: A surprisingly tangy, yet perfectly rich, tomato flavor. It isn't too powerful, but definitely makes itself known, and finishes with a hint of sweetness to top it off. Cheese: The signature of this style of pizza, it has that ooey gooey meltiness you know and love, and mends everything together so well into a great and creamy texture until the last bite. Toppings: My wife tried the Veggie pizza, and mine was Pepperoni. The vegetables were definitely freshly cut that day, and the pepperoni was on par as usual. The parmesan dusting perfectly complimented the pizza as well! Overall, an amazing experience. Aside from food, the service was also phenomenal, I even smiled a little when the woman taking my order over the phone greeted me with a very pleasant "Faraci's! Thank for calling!". I would highly recommend this place, it is truly a hidden gem in our community.
