Malt Shop

Just as good as I remember it being 25 years ago!! The ice cream is a sweet creamy ice cream and you could definitely enjoy it plain! They happily, created a brownie supreme sundae for me. It's not on their menu but they made it and it was perfect! Thank you Malt Shop for STILL being in business after all these years!

The Malt Shop is my favorite spot for a sweet treat. The only negative thing I have to say is that I’m mad it took me so long to find it! I’ve lived in St. Louis for 17 years, and it wasn’t until about a year ago that I finally heard about it. Now, trust me when I say that it’s not because no one else knows about it because that is absolutely not the case, tons of people LOVE it! There’s a little too much hype around a certain St. Louis spot for ice cream. Don’t get me wrong, that place is good, but I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to pass that place by or exit the parking lot without a treat due to crowds, and I didn’t know where else to go because no one seemed to know. Well, I can tell you that The Malt Shop is the place to go, and I do NOT mean as a backup or last resort. They’re my favorite because they sell better-tasting stuff (seriously, the best chocolate malt I’ve ever had), AND they have some absolutely delicious burgers and fries, so you can actually have a meal here! Everyone is friendly, they’re efficient when they get busy, and it’s a cute spot away from 141 or any other busy road, so you can feel safe there with your kids. My family and I are big fans!

The Malt Shop is all the way off the chain. The absolute best sundaes, concretes and malts and stuff, (with every topping you could ever desire), but the food is actually firesauce too. Not joking ....it's an absolute must that you take the girlfriend/wife, and or the kids to Fenton and try it out. You won't regret it, they never disappoint.
