We decided to give the Maypole a try as we've walked past it plenty of times but never been. We both enjoy Thai cuisine as well: - It's small, but not overly small or cluttered. It's got a really cosy feel to it and a warmth. - The staff are incredibly friendly and lovely. - They did forget to bring us our drinks and we had to ask again, but they were incredibly apologetic and jumped to get them. - The food... what can I say... The food was divine! We both LOVED everything we had! - The soft shell crab was the best I'd ever had, as were my wife's vegetable dumplings which she loved. - Again, my main was perfect, as was my wife's mixed seafood grill! Although you don't need rice for that grill as there isn't sauce as such. - Price wise, it's pretty much what you might expect, but note you do get that and more than what you pay for! - Portions look small, but looks can be deceiving! We were both stuffed by the end! We would 100% go back again, and try their takeaway menu! Honestly cannot recommend them enough!

Very tasty Thai food, with some excellent flavour in the massaman beef curry. Staff are very welcoming though music didn't start playing within the room until much later in our meal leading to a slight underwhelming atmosphere. Portions are generous and we ended up taking a dodgy bag home for dinner the next day. Drinks range is slightly limited and probably the lowlight of the meal, but don't let that out you off the food flavours more than made up for the lackluster drinks. Definitely a recommendation to try this restaurant out if you are in Faversham, tables get booked up fast too so go early or reserve ahead of time.

Booked in for 7 o’clock on New Year’s Eve and greeted nicely with restaurant looking smart and attractive. We ordered a bottle of Prosecco and the set menu for 2. It could have not been better! Everything was just right. The food was perfect, service charming and lots of people eating so very pleasant atmosphere We thoroughly enjoyed it.
