Village Inn

Went during breakfast on a Sunday. It wasn’t very busy and they sat us right away. The waitress was nice and took our order pretty quick. I ordered the smothered breakfast burrito with chorizo. It wasn’t very good, but I should have expected that since this isn’t a mexican food restaurant. I would stick to the regular menu. My sons order was put in wrong and they brought him something totally different than what he ordered. Which happens. When I told the lady that brought it out, she took it to our waitress and told her it was wrong. Our waitress argued with her that my son ordered what was brought out. This happened about 10 feet away from us as if we weren’t there. Pretty unprofessional. They corrected the order regardless and when they brought out the right food, it was amazing. I even commented that it was one of the rare times when the food you get looks better that the picture in the menu. I would definitely order it again, especially since what I ordered was underwhelming.

The first time I was there was amazing, but the second time I went was not so. I was seated and order was taken. Standard American breakfast. 3 other families came in and ordered and all for their meals came first. Walked out after 45 minutes of waiting. Not even my water was refilled even after asked for one.

Went during breakfast today. Quick and friendly service. Items ordered: 1.Turkey dinner (yes, for breakfast!) The dressing was a tad bitter. The other items were good. They didn't have the biscuit option as pictured. 2.Corned beef hash and eggs breakfast. The scrambled eggs were way overdone and dry. The hashbrowns weren't quite warm enough and tasted slightly freezer burnt. I have to say today isn't typical of the food. Usually it's a four rating. The part that worries me when I dine there is which server I'll get on a weekday morning! If it's the younger gal be prepared for long waits and a lackadaisical attitude. The one who has dark hair and is older is always ten times quicker. Luckily today it was the brown hair lady...or I'd be rating a 2.

Horrible night! They are closing down and it is like everybody gave up caring except for the male in charge. Drinks took 15 minutes.1st burger came back wrong and the 2nd burger came back raw. Fries were cold. Forgot toast for 1 order, pancakes cold by the time the server arrived with syrup, refills were non existent, took well over 45 minutes for our meals

We were seated, water was brought to the table. We ordered coffee; the hostess brought each of us a half cup, which was lukewarm no explanation. I heard the waiter telling the next table that they were brewing fresh coffee. We waited for someone to come and take our orders. After two tables were seated and their orders taken , we got up, told the hostess why we were leaving. She said okay. We left.
